- Migration from Drupal to WordPress
Most teams looking for Drupal development services already run a Drupal site, often one built years ago that holds a lot of structured content, user roles and editorial workflows. Older Drupal versions have reached end of life, which means no more security fixes and growing risk. We help you get onto a supported version without losing content, permissions or search rankings.
Moving from an old Drupal release to modern Drupal is a rebuild of the theme and custom modules plus a structured content migration using the Migrate API. We audit what you have, decide which contributed modules have modern equivalents, rewrite custom code with Composer-managed dependencies and set up configuration management so future changes are safer.
If you are happy on current Drupal, we provide ongoing support, custom modules, integrations and decoupled front ends, all on a fixed quote with weekly demos and full code ownership.

Custom module development
Modules for custom content workflows, approval processes, integrations and business rules, built on Drupal services, plugins and hooks.
Decoupled Drupal
Drupal as a content hub with JSON:API or GraphQL, feeding Next.js websites, mobile apps or kiosks from one editorial backend.
Integrations
Connections to CRMs, single sign-on, search services, payment gateways and internal systems so content and data flow without copy-paste.
Migration off Drupal
If Drupal is more than you need, a structured move to WordPress or a headless CMS with content and URLs preserved.

Drupal Development: frequently asked questions
Ask us on WhatsApp. A real person replies, usually within minutes during working hours.
Ask on WhatsAppWhat do Drupal development services cost for an upgrade?
Upgrade cost depends on how many custom modules you have, how complex the content model is, which contributed modules need replacing, theme rebuild scope and the number of integrations. A site with mostly standard modules is far simpler than one with heavy custom code. After an audit we provide a written fixed quote.
How long does an upgrade from an old Drupal version take?
It usually takes a few months for a typical site, because the theme and custom modules are rebuilt and content is migrated in rehearsals. Large multisite or multilingual setups take longer. The audit gives a realistic timeline, and your current site stays live throughout.
Is it risky to stay on an end-of-life Drupal version?
Yes. End-of-life versions no longer receive official security fixes, and hosting providers gradually drop support for the old PHP versions they need. Some vendors sell extended support, but that only delays the upgrade. We can patch and harden your site while we plan the move.
Will we lose content or SEO during the upgrade?
We migrate content, users, taxonomy and files with the Migrate API, then check counts and sample pages. URL aliases are preserved or redirected with 301s, and metadata is carried over. After launch we monitor Search Console and fix crawl issues.
Should we stay on Drupal or move to WordPress?
Stay on Drupal if you rely on complex content types, granular permissions, multilingual content or multisite. Consider WordPress or a headless CMS if your needs have become simpler. We work with all three and will give a recommendation with costs for each path.
